+you're the yellow bird i've been waiting for

dear God,
nothing seems more appropriate right now than to thank you and tell you how much i need you. what a couple of weeks it has been. bumps in the road and frustrations with situations. but you literally have never once been absent. you are always patting me on the back and reminding me you're right alongside with me. nothing has been necessarily difficult, just frustrating, confusing, or annoying. and gosh, shouldn't i be constantly challenged? i praise you, my sweet Jesus for teaching me how to deal with others more patiently. to understand where they are coming from, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and showing them love.

Lord, please help me understand when tough love is necessary and how to administer such a strong medicine. give me courage and effective words.

thank you for music. thank you for that gift...that carries me away. thank you for the warmth of the sun and the freedom of summer. thank you for taylor. thank you for devon. thank you for my family. thank you for the people in my life who keep me sane and keep making me a better person. dear Jesus thank you for sharon and for henry and their marriage in a little over a week. thank you for clarity and for literature. i praise your amazing name for all of it. keep stretching me. so amazing.
