"...the words we say take different shapes..."
i feel like someone gave gas prices medicine.
like they had a high temperature for a long time and now they are better.
they are actually back to 101% health because they are even better than before!
gonzo is going to be happy. because i'm going to fill his belly a lot more now. and take him out of the dreery parking garage with more frequency. his meals got a lot cheaper.
back up.
gonzo is my car.
for those of you who did not know.
i did not personify things until i started getting to know devon. he does it a lot. he thinks that i started it. i don't agree. regardless, i really like the idea. it takes a lot of needless blame off of individuals and puts it on inantimate things that will not be offended.
if i run into a table and hurt my leg, it's much more fun to blame the table for hurting my leg than to admit that i stupidly ran into it.
if i forget to fill up on gas, it much easier to get mad at my car and tell him that he's too hungry and needs to stop eating his food so fast.
all in good fun.
i don't take any of this that seriously, but it does help to alleviate stress.
it's also good in relating to people. instead of getting mad because someone cut you off in traffic, you can pretend that the car that cut you off is getting old and has bad eye sight. you see it? the car. not the person. it helps me deal with people :)
fun game.
good line of thinking.
obviously there are problems that need to be confronted
however, as a human who is prone to overreacting this a good line of defense for me :)
